- Share the concept - explain how mental time-travel works
- Encourage thinking breaks - allow time to contemplate
- Build awareness - when minds wander, are they headed into past or future?
- Plan travel - worry breaks are a good example
- Prioritize the present moment - ask "how do we take advantage of right now?"
- Avoid multi-tasking - this promotes a wandering mind ☹️
- Hold people accountable - don't allow minds to wander
