Reasons to follow a process can include -
- Regulatory - it's required/mandated
- Efficiency - it's faster
- Convenience - it's easier
- Quality - it's better
- Best practices - it's proven
- Cost - it's cheaper
Ex. "This is how we do it, because it's faster."
Each step of the process may have a different reason.
